Ann Monnig, Accompanist
Ann was born in Germantown and is a 5th generation member of St. Johns. Over the years she has held many positions in the church including bell choir director, financial secretary, search committee member and Agape board member. She has been the choir accompanist for over 12 years.
Ann received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo and Medical College of Ohio in 1989 and has been practicing full time as an RN since then. She is currently the Associate Nurse Manager of the Intensive Care Unit at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio and pursuing her master’s degree in nursing.
Ann and her husband, Chris, live on a farm with their two children, Charlie and Katy, in Farmersville.
Mark Williams, Pastor Emeritus
Mark was born in Plattsburg, Ohio, which is near Springfield. He attended Northeastern High School, Heidelberg College and the United Theological Seminary. Mark's pastoral journey has lead him to minister, over the years, to seven churches in Ohio, including St. John's United Church of Christ, Germantown, Ohio from 1974 to 1985.
Mark returned to St.John's in 2001 and is currently serving as Pastor Emeritus. He and his wife Charlotte have 3 children, 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mark is an avid golfer who also enjoys gardening, reading and singing.
Rachel Eve Davis, Organist and Senior Choir Director
Rachel Eve was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio. She studied piano both locally and at the College-Conservatory of Music (Cincinnati). She studied the pipe organ after being granted the Clem Burton Scholarship for Organ Studies. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from Vanderbilt University, majoring in European studies, Russian language and music. In 2001, she completed a Master of Arts in Human Rights at the University College London (England). She has 15+ years of experience accompanying church choirs, soloists, small ensembles, bands and orchestras plus composing, arranging and scoring various types of music.
Rachel Eve, who lives in Dayton with her husband Rob, has a passion for human rights and social justice. She enjoys baking, board games, chocolate and vegetables.

Rev. Laureen A. Roe, Pastor
Laureen began ministry with St. John’s in November 2016. Prior to this she served a year as Interim Director of Youth Ministries at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Centerville; nine years as Pastor at First Christian Church in Middletown; three years as Associate Pastor at First Christian Church in Wilmington; and four years as Minister to Children and Youth at Central Christian Church in Kettering. Rev. Roe grew up in Beavercreek. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Wright State University and a Master of Divinity from The Methodist Theological School in Ohio. She is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with partnership standing in The United Church of Christ.
Rev. Roe has a joyous spirit and deep love for God that shape her ministry and all that she does.
